While it's getting chilly this time of year (and I'd suggest a lined wind-breaker or other waterproof jacket with a hood), the upper deck was manageable. If it hadn't been, the fully enclosed lower deck would have accommodated all of us comfortable. Polite crew, good navigating, interesting lessons on the public-address - just right!”

“Great tour, and Katie was a wonderful guide. She kept up an ongoing narrative during the drive from the Inverness Bus Station to the boat dock and back again after the boat tour. Very clear instructions about meet-up location after the boat tour. The Loch Ness boat tour was awesome - so incredibly peaceful, and perfect weather that day for it! Commentary was great, too. The only downside is that one hour at Urquhart Castle is not nearly long enough for exploring the site. Could easily have used twice that amount of time.”

“We had an absolutely amazing tour with Avril. It wasn't like any other tour we've taken as it was a small and much more personal experience. Avril even made sure we made it to Cawdor castle before the crowds, which gave us more time to really explore the castle and its grounds at our leisure. She was extremely knowledgeable, very communicative (even before the tour), and had a wonderful sense of humor. This was by far our favorite excursion of the entire trip and would highly recommend it to anyone cruising to Invergordon.”

“This was by far the worst tour ever. I guess because it was sprinkling George the tour guide didn’t want to do part of the tour. Said who wants to see ruins anyway. They should take it off as an option if George doesn’t want to take you there and says it not worth it. Totally disappointed. Won’t be returning to Inverness. George ruined it and left a bad impression, sadly.”
